STARS program to Focus on Service Excellence!
Thunderbird Internal Medicine has implemented an employee appreciation program that has been in use since 2002. It is summed up by the title above. We are focusing on things each of us can do as individuals to improve the care and caring for our patients and make this an even better place to work by helping and supporting each other. Each employee will receive coupons to be given out to co-workers for doing or saying special things, going the extra mile, being supportive of other team players, etc. For every ten coupons rewards will be given to show our appreciation for the extra effort given. Each month we will have an employee of the month.
Employee of the Month is nominated by fellow employees as an
employee that exemplifies an outstanding employee and offers
outstanding customer service to our patients.
As we move further along with the program we will have different goals to be reached to become the employee of the month. The employee of the month will be awarded a special gift and breakfast in her/his honor. Pictures, employee of the month certificate and coupons will all be posted in the employee lounge for the employee of the month. We welcome patients to join us in the STARS program by filling out the STARS comment forms in the office or online. Your comments mean everything to us!
