Electrocardiogram (EKG)

Electrocardiograms are tracings of the electrical activity of the heart.  There are many conditions that can show abnormalities in the tracing if they are present.  It is one way of evaluating the heart if there are findings on exam or symptoms that suggest rhythm problems, coronary disease, or heart enlargement.  Often times we get a "baseline" study to compare with if there are ever new symptoms that develop later.

Chest X-ray
