Angela
Shreves M.D.
I grew up in South Dakota in a medical family. My father, a surgeon and
general practitioner, was my inspiration. I always knew I would end up in a
"healing" profession. I first graduated with my bachelor degree in
nursing, practiced nursing for seven years before going to medical school,
graduating from the University of Arizona in 1980. I have been in private
practice in the Phoenix area since 1984. My biggest reward has been in
developing long term relationships with my patients, and in trying to keep a
"personal touch" in this era of high-tech medicine.
I enjoy exercising, primarily running and hiking, and usually run the Phoenix
10k every year. I am married to a wine educator, and have a nine year old
daughter.
